About Us
Hello, I'm Jim Farmer. I started Lighthouse Trim Works 5 years ago out of the Topsail Island area. My plan from the start was to build the business on quality workmanship, and a good working relationship with the builder and/or homeowner.

Who I Am
I began my carpentry career Jan. 1 1990 right out of college in the Boone area among the mountains of North Carolina. I worked for the same builder for about 14 years on custom homes for the most part. The company worked its way into the higher end resort communities, always with an emphasis on quality and hard work. Our trim work was done in house of which I was involved with from the start. Five years ago I moved to the coast. After a few months on a framing crew I started the business which has grown to what it is today! And the name? Well my great great grandfather was a keeper at the Hatteras Light for a short stint so it's named in honor of him.Copyright this business. All rights reserved.
